X3Edit is an editor and viewer for X3C format 3D models as used by X3.
X3, created by Jake Luck, is the cool system load visualizer that represents CPU usage via a 3D spinning object in the dock.
(If you don't have X3 yet, then you can find it here)
X3Edit allows modification of existing objects as well as creating custom objects to be used with X3.
It's primarily of use to X3 model developers, providing a visual means of building and debugging models, before running them in X3.
